Oh wow! My X Factor 2016 dream could well become a reality now that Cheryl Cole/Fernandez/Tweedy has quit the show!

Firstly I have to say I am massively shocked that she won’t be returning for the next series of X Factor UK, especially as she took over some production duties during X Factor 2015 – leading many of us to believe she was being primed to step into Simon Cowell’s shoes.

It’s no secret however, that Cheryl and former X Factor judge Louis Walsh don’t get on and Louis is rumoured to be signing his contract for X Factor 2016 as we speak!

Given Cheryl’s brattiness, I would not be at all surprised if she’s seen her arse and thrown her toys out of the pram upon hearing Walsh may be returning to the show.

Cheryl has also been given a lot of grief over her relationship with toy boy Liam Payne from the band One Direction – this means the paparazzi would be practically stuck to her like glue if she were to keep her role as an X Factor judge!

Why has Chezza quit X Factor 2016?

The official line is that Chezza has quit X Factor 2016 to focus on her music career –  a very good move given how far down the toilet her last single sank.

A ‘friend’ of Cheryl’s has reportedly said: “Music is her number one passion and she has just started working on a new album which she wants out later this year," the friend was quoted as saying.

“She’s having a great time in the US with Liam and getting back to her pop roots. Simon understands her reasons. He is supportive. X Factor will always be a special show for her as it changed her life.”

As you can imagine the X Factor betting markets have opened on who will be replacing Chezza and I live in hope that it’s Sharon Osbourne.

Mrs O and Louis Walsh are exactly what X Factor 2016 needs to make it watchable again!
